Bobrova/Soloviev are gold medalists with the team at the 2014 Olympic Winter Games. They teamed up in 2000. They won Junior Worlds the first time they entered the event. He has a son, Alexander (born in 2010) from his former marriage. Bobrova/Soloviev switched coaches in spring 2012. The couple missed the 2014/15 season as Soloviev underwent knee surgery. Coach Alexander Zhulin is the 1994 Olympic silver medalist and 1993 Ice Dance World Champion.
